The evolution
Building has always been about turning vision into reality. Every era added a new dimension of precision - and now AI completes the picture.
Building knowledge lived entirely in human memory - passed from master to apprentice through speech and craft tradition. Cathedrals and aqueducts rose from verbal instruction. No drawings, no traceability, no way to scale.
No documentation. No replication.AutoCAD digitised the drawing. For the first time, plans, elevations and sections could be stored, copied and shared. The plotter replaced the drafting table - but coordination between disciplines stayed manual and error-prone.
