Everything you need to know about Qvintos — how it works, what it reads, and what it can do for your project team.
What exactly does Qvintos do?
Qvintos is a construction intelligence platform that reads your project documentation — drawings, PDFs, specifications, BOQs, contracts — and turns it into structured, queryable data. It detects rooms, walls, openings, and building elements, calculates quantities and areas, and generates traceable outputs that your team can act on immediately.

Who is Qvintos built for?
Qvintos is designed for the professionals who live inside construction documentation every day — architects, quantity surveyors, estimators, project managers, procurement leads, and property and facility teams. If your work involves extracting information from drawings or documents, Qvintos was built for you.
How is Qvintos different from Bluebeam or CostX?
Bluebeam and CostX require a skilled operator to manually trace and measure every element. Qvintos reads and measures automatically — with no calibration, no manual tracing, and no editing required. We tested this directly: Qvintos achieved 99.98% accuracy against Bluebeam as reference, with just 7mm total deviation across 32 metres of measured facade.
What file types does Qvintos support?
Qvintos currently supports PDF drawings and documents, including scanned and vector PDFs exported from Revit, AutoCAD, and ArchiCAD. Support for IFC, DWG, and RVT files is on the roadmap. If your drawings are in PDF format — whether architectural plans, sections, facades, or specifications — Qvintos can read them.

Does Qvintos work with scanned drawings?
Yes. Qvintos can process both vector PDFs and scanned raster drawings. Accuracy is highest on vector exports from CAD and BIM tools, but the AI is trained on a wide range of drawing quality levels and annotation styles, including older hand-annotated documents.
Can Qvintos handle multi-page drawing sets?
Yes. You can upload complete drawing sets and Qvintos will organise them by drawing type, floor level, and content — plans, sections, facades, and details are automatically classified. Quantities and measurements can be aggregated across the entire set or filtered by floor, zone, or drawing.
How accurate is Qvintos?
In a benchmark test against Bluebeam on drawing A-40-1-0013 (Fabrikôrsvillan, Nacka Strand), Qvintos achieved 99.98% overall accuracy — with a total deviation of just 7mm across 32.67 metres of measured facade elements. North facade: 99.9011%. West facade: 99.9917%. No human input required at any stage.

Can I trust the numbers Qvintos produces?
Every measurement and quantity Qvintos produces is traceable to its source — the drawing, page, element, and measurement logic are all visible. You can inspect what was detected, how it was measured, and what assumptions were made. Transparency is a core design principle, not an afterthought.
What happens if a drawing is ambiguous or incomplete?
Qvintos flags uncertain or low-confidence extractions clearly, rather than silently producing numbers that may be wrong. Where the drawing lacks scale information or contains conflicting annotations, you will see a confidence indicator and an explanation of what was inferred versus what was explicitly stated in the drawing.
Does Qvintos integrate with Revit or other BIM tools?
Direct Revit and IFC integrations are on the near-term roadmap. Currently, Qvintos works with PDF exports from any BIM or CAD tool. You can export from Revit, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, or Vectorworks and upload directly. Native IFC parsing is in active development.

How do I get access to Qvintos?
Qvintos is currently in early access. You can request access via an invitation code or by contacting us directly at hello@qvintos.com. We are onboarding construction teams and enterprise accounts on a selective basis during this phase to ensure every team gets proper support.
What does Qvintos cost?
Pricing is structured for enterprise and project-based teams. We offer both per-seat and per-project pricing models depending on your team size and workflow. Contact us for a tailored quote — we do not believe in one-size-fits-all pricing for construction teams with genuinely different needs.
Is my project data secure?
Yes. All uploaded files are encrypted in transit and at rest. Your project data is never used to train shared models. Each workspace is isolated — your drawings and quantities are only ever accessible by your team. We are GDPR compliant and data is hosted within the EU.
GDPR compliant · EU data hosting · Encrypted at rest
Can multiple team members access the same project?
Yes. Qvintos is built for team collaboration. Multiple users can access the same project workspace, view drawings, quantities, and reports, and leave annotations. Role-based access controls allow you to manage what each team member can view or edit.
