S-01
Engineering consultancies
MEP designers, BIM coordinators and project engineers
The problem
Layout, calculations, drawings and model checks are often done in separate steps and separate tools, and figures in a delivery can be hard to trace back.
With QVINTOS

How the work runs
- 01 Prepare the model Check how well the IFC model supports each discipline and correct it before design. D-01 · Model preparation Pilot
- 02 Design the discipline Sprinkler today; ventilation, plumbing, heating, electrical and fire alarm in a pilot. D-02 · Sprinkler Available
- 03 Review before issue Clashes, room heights, penetrations, shaft space and rule checks, each with method and source. C-01 · Model review Available
- 04 Deliver Sheets as PDF and DXF, the model as IFC, issues as BCF. A qualified engineer confirms the result.

Contractors
Project engineers, BIM coordinators and site management
The problem
Models arrive from several designers, conflicts between them often surface late, and answers are spread across models and project documents.
With QVINTOS
Review incoming models for clashes and rule deviations, coordinate between discipline models, and ask the model and the documents.

Building services firms
Sprinkler, HVAC and electrical designers
The problem
A system is laid out, calculated and drawn in separate passes, and every change to the building means doing the passes again.
With QVINTOS
Sprinkler design with hydraulic calculation and drawing sheets from the same run in the IFC model. The other disciplines can be tried in a pilot.
What you use
How the work runs
